Here's your Tampa area forecast for late Monday into Tuesday morning, along with a preview of conditions at midweek.

  • Pleasant morning
  • Warming trend
  • Dry conditions

After the amazingly cool weekend, we are now headed back to a more typical may pattern with warming temperatures.

It will still feel fantastic out there overnight into the early morning hours due to low humidity, allowing the lows to dip into the comfortable range. Expect lows in the 60s from the bay south, but 50s for Citrus, Hernando, and Pasco Counties.

Skies will continue to be mostly clear with just some high thin clouds passing from time to time.

Tuesday will feature mostly sunny skies, but with some high thin cirrus clouds passing through the skies. Overall, it will be a nice day, but it will be warmer, with highs back into the upper 80s and even some low 90s inland.

The humidity, however, will still be low, so it will not feel as hot as it does in the summer. The problem with that is, as you know by now, the low humidity will continue to add to the dry conditions.

Tuesday night will be mostly clear with lows in the 60s to upper 50s.

Wednesday will likely be the warmest day of the week, with most spots in the low to mid 90s. The sea breeze will come in late in the afternoon and help to cool it down going into the evening.
