Police are investigating two overnight fatal shooting in Pinellas County. 

  • 2 fatal shootings in Pinellas County
  • Man killed at home in Gulfport; man killed nar St. Petersburg intersection
  • Both homicides under investigation; no suspects of victims identified

Crews responded to shootings early Wednesday in Gulfport and St. Petersburg.

According to Gulfport Police, authorities received a call at 10:35 p.m. of an armed person at a home in the 2600 block of Miriam Street South. When officers arrived, they found a 31-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. 

He was taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg, where he died. 

The case is being investigated as a homicide. Although the detectives are working on some leads, the suspect is unknown at this time.  

The victim's identity has not been released.

Meanwhile, about two miles away, St. Petersburg police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened at 18th Avenue and 31st Street.

Police were called out to Crabb Paradise around 3 a.m. in reference to a person shot. They said Lamant Lisbon, 42, was shot just outside the door, in the parking lot of the Crabb Paradise rental pool hall. 

Lisbon died while he was being transported to the hospital. 

Investigators believe some sort of dispute led to the shooting and said it was not related to the shooting earlier in Gulfport.
