A police chase on Aug. 23 involving a stolen rental car came to a crashing end at a popular Tampa skatepark.

  • Bradley Kincaid, 24, and Daniel Santana, 21, arrested
  • Two fled police, crashed vehicle
  • Suspects allegedly involved in earlier home invasion

Police arrested Bradley Kincaid, 24 and Daniel Santana, 21, late Wednesday night. The arrests followed a chase that started when officers spotted the stolen car speeding away from the vicinity of a shots-fired call in the 1900 block of E. Genesee St.

Kincaid and Santana fled police and crashed the stolen vehicle, a Kia Sol, at the Bro Bowl in Perry Harvey Park. They were caught and arrested following a brief foot chase.

The car had been reported stolen from the Hertz rental facility at Tampa International Airport.

Investigators eventually determined that Kincaid and Santana, along with two others, were involved in a home invasion. When police arrived at the scene, the suspects attempted to flee in the stolen vehicle.

Both suspects were charged with home invasion and robbery with a firearm. Kincaid faces additional charges including fleeing to elude police, driving with no valid driver's license and grand theft auto. Santana, meanwhile, faces an aggravated battery charge and two counts of carrying a concealed firearm.

Police are still looking for the other two suspects involved in the home invasion.
