Here's your Tampa area weather forecast for late Sunday into Monday morning, with a look at conditions through midweek.

  • Rain chances stay low
  • Lower humidity
  • Hurricane Maria into the Caribbean

Clouds will disappear this evening. The overnight will be mostly clear.

Since the dew points have been dropping, it will be a little cooler tonight. Lows will be in the low 70s for Tampa Bay to upper 60s north.

Monday, north winds continue keeping the drier air in place. Skies will be partly cloudy, there will be a 10 percent chance for some afternoon showers, mainly inland.

Some showers will start on the Atlantic side of the state and will move west.  Highs will be around 90.

Tuesday will be partly cloudy, with lows still in the low 70s for Tampa Bay to upper 60s north. The afternoon will bring a few clouds and a very slim chance for rain.

Starting Wednesday, winds will become easterly. As Jose lifts northeastward, high pressure will build back to the north, bringing in easterly flow.

There will be a slight increase in the moisture, so rain chances will be around 20 percent each afternoon until the end of the work week. A sea breeze will form each day.

Lows will be in the lower 70s around Tampa Bay to upper 60s north. Highs will be in the upper 80s to around 90.
