The 79-year-old woman killed when she was struck and killed by a vehicle in St. Petersburg Wednesday night has been identified as Carol Hotter.

St. Petersburg police said Hotter was struck by a Toyota Prius as she tried to cross Fourth Street North near 74th Avenue North shortly after 6 p.m.
She died at the scene.
Investigators said the 24-year-old woman driving the vehicle stopped, was cooperative and showed no signs of impairment.
