Here's your Tampa area weather forecast for late Friday into Saturday morning, with a look forward at conditions through next week.

There will be some areas of sea fog in the gulf that drift into some coastal zones, especially from Pasco County north into Hernando and Citrus counties tonight.

There will be areas of land fog and low clouds early Saturday morning across the rest of the area.  That fog will burn off after sunrise.

Morning lows will be in the upper 50s to mid 60s.

Saturday will be very similar to Friday. Skies will go from partly cloudy in the morning to mostly sunny the rest of the day.

Due to a sea breeze quickly coming off the gulf our temperatures will be held in check, with coastal regions not getting out of the 70s, but inland areas making it to the low 80s.

There could again be some areas of sea fog over the gulf that drift toward our beach areas in the late afternoon to evening.

Saturday night will be comfortable for outdoor activities, with temperatures dropping through the 70s into the 60s. The lows will be in the upper 50s to mid 60s.

Sunday will wrap up the weekend with mostly sunny skies and highs in the low 80s.

Beginning Monday, we start a much warmer pattern as the sea breeze will likely stay pinned near the coast each day. With that in mind, we will not have that to help as a cooling effect.

Instead the winds will blow from the east to southeast each day, which is a very warm wind direction for our area, as the warmest air piles up on our side of the state and originates from the warm Caribbean.

Thus, expect highs to jump to the mid 80s area-wide Monday afternoon. Skies will go still be mostly sunny .

Tuesday will feature a little batch of moisture passing through, so expect a few scattered showers that afternoon to early evening. Highs will be in the mid 80s that day.

Wednesday and Thursday will be partly cloudy with highs in the mid to upper 80s.

Finally, by next weekend, our sea breeze might return to slowly start knocking our highs down by a couple degrees.
