Here's your Tampa area weather forecast for late Thursday into Friday morning, with a look at conditions through early next week.

  • Chilly again tonight
  • Mild Friday
  • Warmer weekend

Tonight will be clear and colder.

Low temperatures will be in the 40s in Tampa Bay, with some mid to upper 30s in our northern counties. There could be patchy frost in our northern counties overnight.

Surface high pressure is moving east toward Florida and lighter winds are expected on Friday.

After a chilly Friday morning, Friday afternoon will be beautiful with sunny skies and high temperatures in the low 70s. The humidity will stay low since winds stay out of the north.

This weekend will be warmer with high temperatures in the upper 70s on Saturday and around 80 degrees on Sunday. Light winds will lead to a sea breeze each day.

It will be dry this weekend with plenty of sunshine expected.

A weak front moves through our area on Monday, but will only result in a slight chance of isolated showers on the Atlantic side, maybe making it into Polk County. Northeast breezes will increase.

There will be very little cool down following. On Tuesday highs will be near 80, with breezy east winds.

Winds will lighten up again starting Wednesday. Light winds and above-normal temperatures will end the work week.
