Firefighters had their hands full working two separate fires in the Bay area overnight. 

  • Bay area fire crews had hands full with overnight fires
  • Tampa home and Clearwater home caught fire overnight
  • No injuries reported in either fire case

Four people are now without a home after a fire destroyed their property on Ashland Drive in Tampa. 

The fire broke out around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday. 

Thankfully, the family got out of the burning home safely and the Red Cross is providing temporary assistance. 

Officials have not yet determined what caused the fire. 

Also, a home in Clearwater caught fire overnight after a nearby car caught fire. 

Officials said the car fire quickly spread to the home along Coachman Road. 

The fire spread to the carport first and then reached the house. 

Officials said no injuries were reported.
