The man accused of stabbing another man to death in a Melbourne bar has been indicted by a grand jury.

After hearing testimony from three witnesses and a Melbourne police detective, the grand jury indicted 60-year-old Richard Woodsmall with one count of first-degree murder and aggravated battery in the death of 55-year-old Larry Creech, according to the state attorney’s office for the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit of Florida.

Police said Woodsmall stabbed Creech during a bar fight early April 7 at the Backstreet Lounge.
