A Brevard County man found a strange surprise taking a swim in his backyard pool area -- a tiny alligator.
The 3- to 4-foot-long gator was found around 3 p.m. Thursday in a hot tub next to the man's pool on Coconut Lane, in Merritt Island.
A trapper came and took the tiny reptile away. It will be released back into the wild.
No one was hurt, including the gator.
