Construction cranes will soon be seen in downtown Orlando as a new high-rise apartment building will take shape.

Developers plan to put up a $63 million, 23-story building called Skyhouse Orlando at Livingston Street and Magnolia Avenue.

SkyHouse Orlando will be modeled after a similar building in Atlanta.

The building will be on a LYMMO transit route and less than two blocks from the proposed SunRail addition to the LYNX Central Station.

It'll feature 9,000 square feet of retail space and 320 apartments. Construction is expected to be completed in the fall next year.
