The search is on for a killer in Orange County after a young man was found shot to death on a street Monday night.

The body of 24-year-old Antonio Carrasquillo-Irizarry was found on the 2900 block of Curry Village Lane in Orlando around 9:30 p.m.

At first witnesses thought he was the victim of a hit-and-run.

However, homicide detectives believe Irizarry was shot through the home's door.

Irizarry was taken to Florida Hospital East where he was pronounced dead.

Deputies said masks were found at the scene.

“They will continue interviewing witnesses and canvassing the area and collecting any evidence they can toward this case,” said Sgt. Spike Hopkins from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies also searched a nearby home where they think the shooting took place but no one was inside.

Detectives are looking for another person who may have also been injured.

Deputies said they do not believe this was a random act of violence.
