Police in one Brevard County city say they have a homicide investigation on their hands.
It happened just after 6 p.m. Friday on the 1200 block of Pine Street.
Police were sent there to respond to a shots fired call.
When they arrived, they found 20-year-old Sharrod Freeman dead in the front yard from an apparent gunshot wound.
Police said a man showed up at a local hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound around the same time as the deadly shooting.
Investigators aren't sure if there is a connection between the two.
Detectives are still looking for the shooter and are exploring leads.
