Police say a man arrested for having a gun at Orlando International Airport told them he forgot it was in his carry-on bag.
Alex Martin Hart, 33, was arrested Friday morning and charged with carrying a handgun in a prohibited place.
Orlando police said the loaded gun was discovered by an x-ray machine as Hart’s bag went through security.
In the arrest report, investigators wrote that Hart, who has a concealed weapon permit, had no intention of taking the gun on the plane.
