On Tuesday on the New York Stock Exchange reported Sprint Corp. was down $1.02 to $5.18.
The wireless phone company reported a wider-than-expected quarterly loss and said it will cut 2,000 jobs in a cost-cutting measure.
The company is cutting those jobs in an effort to save as much as $400 million per year.
Sprint has laid off thousands of employees since last year, when a Japanese bank bought part of the company.
