Theme park fans who have been chomping at the bits to find out more about the Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Diagon Alley won't have to wait much longer. Universal Orlando said it's got something new to share this Friday.

Universal sent us this message on Monday:

Waiting to hear more about The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley?

On Friday, March 14, Universal Orlando Resort will reveal NEW details about the Hogwarts Express experience that guests will enjoy.

Stay tuned, you won't want to miss this train…

Accompanying Monday's announcement was a short teaser video with the following message:

Introducing non-stop service from London to Hogsmeade.

More details to be revealed March 14.

We know "London" will part of the new Diagon Alley area being built at Universal Studios Florida, where guests will be able to board the Hogwarts Express from Platform 9¾ at King's Cross Station. The train will transport guests back and forth between London and Hogsmeade, the currently open section of the Wizarding World at Islands of Adventure.

But we haven't heard much about what guests will experience on the train ride, itself.

Here's what we do know, based on already released information from Universal Orlando:

  • "The journey will be filled with views of London and the British countryside -- as well as a few surprises."

So far, Universal's been tight-lipped about those "surprises." Some possibilities we thought of include possibly seeing glimpses of Ford Anglia or a runaway chocolate frog fly past the window, or maybe for a thrill, perhaps even a surprise Dementor attack.

  • "Park-to-park admission is required."

It sounds like only guests with two-park tickets to both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure will be allowed to board the Hogwarts Express. With single-park tickets now costing $96 and two-park tickets at $136, that may disappoint a few fans. But whatever Universal reveals on this magical train ride might be enough to convince more than a few guests.

Diagon Alley will also feature more than a half-dozen magical shops, the Leaky Cauldron restaurant and a brand new thrill ride -- Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts -- which Universal calls "a multi-sensory, multi-dimensional journey that will take theme park attractions to a new level."
