Shaquille O’Neal surprised a few Gainesville teens when he stopped by for a game of pickup basketball on Saturday.

The former NBA player watched a video of Gainesville Officer Bobby White responding to a noise complaint earlier in the week.

On Thursday, the police department shared the video of the officer's interaction with the teens on its Facebook page where it has received more than 14 million views.

In the video, White approaches a group of teens playing basketball after a neighbor said the children were playing “loudly” in the street.

White joined the teens in a game of basketball instead of asking them to keep the noise down. White promised the teens he would be back for a rematch and bring back up next time.

Shaq stopped by the Gainesville Police Department to praise White and help him keep his promise to bring “backup.”

A group of officers and Shaq returned to the neighborhood for a pickup game with the teens.

“These kids will never forget the day Shaq rolled up to their house to play ball,” the police department wrote on Facebook.
