The Food and Drug Administration is expanding a 2014 recall of frozen fruits and vegetables.

  • FDA expands recall from 2014
  • It includes hundreds of frozen food products
  • Officials concerned contaminated food is still out there

The decision comes as concern grows that frozen food from the 2014 recall is still out there.

The recall includes millions of packages of fruits and vegetables linked to several cases of listeria that were shipped to stores in all 50 states.

Products were sold under more than 40 different brand names at major retailers such as Costco, Target, Trader Joe's and Safeway.

According to officials, at least eight people since 2014 have become ill from eating the foods. Two people died from complications.
