For the first time, 4 Rivers Smokehouse opened its doors to raise money for the Pulse attack victims.

The restaurant was open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday for dine-in and call-ahead orders. The money raised will go to the OneOrlando Fund to help the victims and their families.

Florida Gov. Rick Scott stopped by to show his support.

"This is a really nice thing that 4Rivers is doing. We have so many people doing really nice things in this community, working hard to unity this community," Scott said.

“The tragic events from last weekend will forever change our beloved city. Precious lives were lost and innocence was stolen by a senseless act of hatred and fear. Though we can’t change what happened, through unity we can influence what comes from it. It’s times like these that define who we are and shape the very fabric of our community,” wrote John Rivers, founder and CEO of the restaurant.
