Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are in a virtual tie in Florida in the latest Quinnipiac poll.

The new poll of 1,056 likely voters shows Clinton up 46 percent to Trump's 45 percent in a head-to-head race.

In a four-way race, Clinton and Trump are tied 43 to 43 percent, while Libertarian Gary Johnson gets 7 percent and Green Party candidate Jill Stein gets 3 percent.

The July Quinnipiac Poll showed Trump beating Clinton in Florida 42 to 39 percent.

According to the poll, Clinton wins with women and nonwhite voters. Clinton and Trump split independent voters 42 to 41 percent.

Among Clinton supporters, 42 percent say the main reason they are voting for her is because they are pro-Clinton, while 41 percent are anti-Trump and 13 percent say they back Democrats.

Among Trump supporters, 29 percent say they are pro-Trump, while 54 percent are anti-Clinton and 10 percent say they back Republicans.

The new Quinnnipiac poll also shows Clinton edging Trump 49-45 in Ohio and 52-42 in Pennsylvania.
