Building on the momentum from an exciting offseason, today the Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced the team's 2012 Training Camp public schedule. For the fourth straight year, the Buccaneers will host Training Camp at the team's headquarters, One Buccaneer Place, now with nine practices open to the public. The first of these free, open sessions will kick off on Friday, July 27, with the remaining dates and times detailed below.

"The anticipation and atmosphere of Training Camp is exciting for our fans and our team," said Buccaneers Co-Chairman Bryan Glazer. "We look forward to Bucs fans welcoming Coach Schiano and our new players to the Tampa Bay area."

Once again, tickets will not be required for fan admittance to Training Camp, and fans can expect many of the same fan-friendly features as years past, with all public sessions being held on Field 3 for optimal viewing, plentiful autograph sessions, free parking, discount concessions, merchandise tents featuring new Nike apparel, as well as appearances by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleaders and Captain Fear.

New in 2012, all Training Camp practices will run from 8:45-11:30 a.m., with gates opening at 7:00 a.m. The exception to the daily practice schedule is the popular Night Practice, which will be held at Raymond James Stadium on Saturday, August 4, from 6:30-9:00 p.m. Night Practice will now feature an intrasquad scrimmage, with the Buccaneers playing their first football under the lights in 2012. In addition to the play on the field, fans will again be treated to free parking, autograph sessions, $1 hot dogs and soft drinks, and a fireworks show.

Those wishing to attend practice sessions should monitor Buccaneers.com for updates. The team's official website will also include helpful Camp guidelines, parking information, and a map of One Buccaneer Place with which visitors are encouraged to be familiar. Season Pass Members should keep an eye out for additional information from their dedicated Member Relations Associate, outlining new, exclusive Training Camp events. Members will be invited to a private practice with all-inclusive food and special autograph opportunities. Those who are not currently Season Pass Members and would like to inquire more, should call (866) 582-BUCS (2827) for additional information.

In the coming weeks, the Buccaneers will also begin their preseason game slate, opening on the road against the Miami Dolphins on Friday, August 10, at 7:30 p.m., before returning to Tampa to host two consecutive home games. The team first welcomes the Tennessee Titans to Raymond James Stadium on Friday, August 17, at 7:30 p.m., and then, on Friday, August 24, the Buccaneers will face the New England Patriots at 7:30 p.m. Tampa Bay closes preseason action at the Washington Redskins on Wednesday, August 29, at 7:30 p.m. The club will begin the regular season by hosting the division rival Carolina Panthers on Sunday, September 9, at 4:15 p.m.
