The Orlando Predators team will take part in the National Football League’s High School Player Development program presented by the National Guard. This football camp is on Sunday, June 10, at Barnett Park in Orlando. Barnett Park is located at 4801 West Colonial Drive.
The camp will take place from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m., football players from Dr. Phillips High School, Fountain Academy, Jones High School, Olympia High School, Colonial High School, Cypress High School and Timber Creek High School will be in attendance.
The Predators will speak to the student athletes about character development, provide autographs, and participate in skills/drills exercises. Following the camp, student athletes who exhibit outstanding character development skills, based upon the 7 Army Values, will be awarded tickets to the June 15th Orlando Predators game against rival Tampa Bay Storm.
The NFL’s HSPD provides incoming high school sophomores, juniors and seniors a program that focuses on academic counseling, character development, and football skills. The National Guard has multiple programs designed to build relationships with coaches and student athletes. The high school player development program aims to develop productive members of society as well as good football players. We use the newest techniques and instruction from a wide range of colleges and look to constantly improve the fundamentals of the game.
