The Hericanes Lacrosse Club was created four years ago on the backs of now Winter Springs' Head Coach Steve Efland and Randy Booth. It was the first girls lacrosse recreational program instilled in the Central Florida area.
"We saw the need for a local club that wasn't geared towards being competitive as much as something developmental," Steve Efland said. "Where the girls could learn, with no pressure and have fun."
High school coaches, college coaches and NCAA past and present players make up the elite coaching staff offered to all members.
