At least one school from every Division I conference outside the Southeastern Conference has expressed interest in ex-Gator wide receiver and Nature Coast alum Ja'Juan Story, Bright House Sports Network has learned.

Story, who informed Gators head coach Will Muschamp Thursday of his intent to transfer, has received interest from Wisconsin, South Florida, Indiana, West Virginia, Notre Dame, Duke and TCU, among other schools.

The four-star recruit enrolled at UF in the summer of 2011 and redshirted last year after spending the season on the scout team. He was originally recruited by former offensive coordinator Charlie Weis and head coach Urban Meyer, both of whom are no longer at Florida. The school has restricted him from joining FSU, Miami or any S.E.C. school.

"People are trying to think there is an issue right now with Ja'Juan," a Nature Coast assistant coach told BHSN. "There's no issue. He just wasn't happy there and he wants to get a fresh start somewhere. He leaves Florida in good standing and good academically."

Story was unable to be reached for comment.

He was hurt in the spring and continued to slip on the Gators' depth chart. There's no timetable for a decision on which school he'll choose a school, but both sides are moving quickly.

"We are kind of trying to narrow it down still," the assistant coach said.

Story was a star for the Sharks his senior season, passing for 427 yards and three touchdowns, rushing for 847 yards and 12 scores and catching seven passes for 123 yards and two TDs.
