The Dunedin Falcons needed four sets to take down the River Ridge Royal Knights three games to one.
Dunedin used a quick start in games one and two to take early leads and would cruise to a two-game lead.
River Ridge, led by Morgan Tolle and Olivia Pinto, fought back in the third set and would cut the lead to 2-1 and force a fourth game.
The fourth and final set would be the closest of the match, with both teams battling hard. Dunedin would use the strong hitting of Katie Will and Olivia Welsh to close out the final set, and take the match 3-1.
Falcons OH Katie Will led Dunedin with 15 kills. Olivia Welsh and Macayla Chianco each contributed 7 kills apiece.
Both teams now have a record of 2-1 on the season.
