No. 7 Devan Barrett

Tampa Catholic High School

Position: ATH

Class: 2017

College: Barrett has several Division I offers, including Cincinnati, Duke, Florida, Florida Atlantic and Florida International.

Fun Fact: Barrett said the rivalry between the Crusaders and Jesuit is like a college football atmosphere. Packed stands and lots of trash talking. He said you can hear the other players in the huddle and also the fans in the stands yelling insults at each other.

“It’s kind of funny actually,” he said.

The BHSN Top 25 Football Players were voted on by members of the Tampa Bay area Bright House Sports Network staff that cover our seven-county region (Citrus, Hernando, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas and Polk).
