WWE Superstar Kevin Owens plays a bad guy in the ring, but it anything but outside. He’s fan friendly, a big family man and yet he’s relentless in the ring.
“I don’t really think I’m a bad guy,” Owens said in an interview at our BHSN studios. Owens knows he’s playing a role, but when the camera light is off, he says he’s just a normal guy. He’s also more athletic than he looks. He’s a Ring of Honor World Champion, Pro Wrestling Guerilla World Champ, All American Wrestling Heavyweight Champ, but his biggest accomplishment is making it in the WWE.
“I’ve wanted to be in the WWE when I first saw a tape of WrestleMania when I was a boy and I watched Shawn Micheals,” Owens said. “I just love what I do.”
Owens says he doesn’t even know what he’s going to do tonight for the SmackDown tapings at Amalie Arena. That’s why he’s encouraging you to show up.
