The Tampa Bay Buccaneers gave the media a preview of the new video boards and sound system at Raymond James Stadium on Thursday. The renovation project is highlighted by 31,000 square feet of new video board space that includes 9,600 square feet of video space, large boards on each of the corner towers and six-foot-high ribbon boards.

Another highlight of stadium renovations is the Hall of Fame Club, an all-inclusive club that allows 240 fans to experience events from the best seats in the house- the 50-yard line.  Club membership includes VIP Access to USF games and the Outback bowl, as well as early access to tickets for the College Football National Championship.

The big reveal for fans takes place on Friday night when the Buccaneers host their first preseason game vs. the Cleveland Browns.  Buccaneers CEO Brian Ford said of the upgrades, “Everything was done to give the fans a reason to keep coming to Ray Jay.  From the sound system, videos and 18 different replay cameras, the overall experience is something everyone will notice and appreciate”.

Ford also talked about the massive scoreboards and the two tower walls, which will give up-to-the-minute scores, tweets, and replays to enhance the fan experience.  The team is just as excited as Ford about the new-look Ray Jay.

“I heard a lot of good things about the videoboard.  So, I hope to see a lot of big plays on that jumbotron,” said Buccaneers linebacker Lavonte David.
