1. Berkeley Prep Buccaneers (1-0) -The Buccaneers have not dropped a set in their first two matches against Sarasota Military Academy and Brooks DeBartolo.

2. Manatee Hurricanes (0-0) - A fun group, Manatee is looking to avenge its 8A state semifinal loss to Winter Springs. They are also moving on without two of the best players to walk through the program: Haley Coulter (Tulsa) and Jacqui Armer (LSU).   

3. Plant Panthers (0-0) - Plant was a surprise last season reaching the 7A state championship match against St. Thomas Aquinas, where the Panthers fell 3-0. But a year older, this team is looking to finish things off in 2016.

4. Palm Harbor University Hurricanes (2-0) - The Lady 'Canes are the 7A-10 favorites returning four of their six starters and are looking to take another step for the program, trying to outdo it;s regional championship appearance in 2015.

5. East Lake Eagles (1-0)- East Lake has a group of seniors eager to prove they can contend with the best. They started off the season with a 3-0 win over district opponent St. Petersburg.

6. Mitchell Mustangs (1-0) - The Mustangs reached the 6A state semifinals last season and return a number of players.

7. Tampa Bay HEAT (1-0) - A group of home-schooled student-athletes, the HEAT won 26 times in 2015 and made it all the way to the 2A state semifinals.

8. Academy of Holy Names Jaguars (1-0) -Camille Opp is a senior now and will lead a mix of upperclassmen and some sophomores in a tested district this season. 

9. George Jenkins Eagles (1-0) - The Eagles will be playing an out-of-state opponent on August 31 against Owasso from Oklahoma.

10. Lakeland Dreadnaughts (0-0) - Crystal Ramsey always has talent in the orange and black, and a bad taste in their mouths after losing in the 7A regional quarterfinals.
