The BHSN volleyball Game of the Week between two of the top 5 teams in the BHSN Top 10 lived up to the hype, with #3 Berkeley Prep coming out on top.

The #4 Academy of Holy Names Jaguars came into the Buccaneers' field house looking for the upset, but Berkeley would have none of it.

Led by junior Jenna Hampton, who finished the night with 18 kills, the Bucs shot out to a 2 sets to none lead, but then the Jaguars, led by senior Camille Opp, who finished with 16 kills, came storming back to win the third set.

In the fourth set, with the Jaguars up 19-15, there came a controversial ruling on a kill the Jaguars thought tipped a Buccaneer player's fingertips. After several discussions, the referees decided to replay the point, and the Buccaneers came storming back to win the set, and take the match 3 sets to 1.

In the win, Berkeley Prep coach Randy Dagostino earned his 850th career win, and the Bucs will face district leader and top ranked Clearwater Central Catholic next. As for the Jaguars, they get ready for a district match at Cardinal Mooney.
