UCF's Scott Frost is one of only 20 coaches named to the "Bear" Bryant Award watch list, given to the nation's top college football coach. Frost has UCF 5-0 for the first time since 1988 and ranked 20th in both the Coaches and AP national polls. Frost joins Alabama's Nick Saban, Clemson's Dabo Swinney and fellow American Athletic Conference coaches Mike Norvell of Memphis and Charlie Strong from USF on the list. UCF leads the nation in scoring with 50.6 points per game and are fifth in total offense, racking up 547.2 yards per game.

The award will be handed out on January 10, 2018 after all bowl games are concluded and is voted on bu the National Sports Media Association.
