For the third time this offseason, Hudson high school is looking for a head football coach.

The school announced the hiring of offensive coordinator Will McDonald last month, but the job offer was rescinded this week.

A spokesperson with the Pasco County School District told Spectrum Sports that McDonald did not respond to the district's multiple requests to provide fingerprints for a required background check. The spokesperson said they requested the fingerprints from McDonald around 20 times.

Spectrum Sports' attempts to reach McDonald for comment were unsuccessful.

Robbie Mahler left the program after the 2016 season, and he was replaced by Nature Coast defensive coordinator Charles Liggett. After a couple months at the helm, Liggett returned to his old position with the Sharks and accepted a teaching position at Nature Coast.
