Warm, muggy conditions diominated our weather again Monday, with temperatures running well above average.

A weak front sagging across the Panhandle is drawing moisture over the peninsula, so we can expect patchy areas of dense fog along with mild lows in the 60s overnight.

As the front approaches Tuesday, we’ll keep a 30 percent afternoon shower chance and throw in an isolated rumble or two of thunder.

Highs along and north of the front will stay just shy of 80, with low 80s south of it. High pressure takes control and allows us to pull rain out of the forecast from Wednesday into the upcoming weekend.

Highs stay well above average in the upper 70s to lower 80s through the period as well.

Waist to chest high waves and an east to east-southeast swell will create fair surfing conditions the next few days, especially before noon.

We’ll have enough wave action and a long period swell to create a moderate rip threat. We may see a few isolated showers, but don’t let this impact your beach plans.

Grab sunscreen! The UV index is high.
