Debbie is your very own Segway tour guide to all of the iconic and tucked away hidden gems in Mount Dora and while she's only been giving these tours for about a year, her long career as an entertainer makes her one interesting guide.
Working at Disney as a character actor for 27 years, she learned the ins and outs of what it takes to entertain the masses. Sadly though losing her job at the start of the pandemic, but she pivoted and eventually found this job here at Glide Adventure Tours, taking you through the history of Mount Dora all aboard a Segway.

The tours that start down at the beautiful waterfront marina weave you through Palm Island Park, here you'll get a glimpse of the beautiful nature and then out to the boardwalk that winds around Lake Dora.
“This is a beautiful view of Lake Dora it 4,475 square acres of fresh water hence all our alligators and it's 6 miles long. See that pass through there? It just keeps on going," Debbie explained.
However one of the most Iconic spots on the tour might be to the Mount Dora lighthouse. This small but very recognizable lighthouse is a tourist must stop spot. Built in 1988 the lighthouse is only 35 feet tall, but certainly stands out thanks to it's vibrant red stripes.
