A pilot low on fuel landed his hot air balloon in the I-4 median near U.S. 27 early Friday, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The safe landing happened about 8:15 a.m. in heavy fog, troopers said.
A tractor-trailer driver picked up the balloon's occupants and took them to a safe location.
