TAMPA -- Tampa police are investigating a shooting in the Drew Park neighborhood.

According to officers, a man was shot Wednesday afternoon in a home on Thatcher Avenue near Alva Street.
That man remains at St. Joseph's Hospital in critical condition.
Police said they received a 911 call from a woman driving saying her boyfriend, 31, had been shot.
Police met up with the woman, who had her wounded boyfriend in the car. They provided aid until paramedics arrived.
A search for a suspect, described as a man in his mid to late 20s wearing black clothing, came up empty.
Detectives are working to develop leads and uncover more details of what led up to the shooting.
