St. Petersburg Police are investigating the deaths of a man and a woman found inside an area apartment Thursday morning.

Officials said police responded to the apartment at The Vibe at Gateway, 503 77th Avenue North, after a friend of one of the apartment's residents requested officers perform a welfare check. The caller said the resident in question had not been in touch in a couple of days.
Upon arrival, officers found the bodies of the man and woman who lived at the residence. The cause of their deaths is still under investigation.
Police have since identified the man as Justin Page, 37, and the woman as Ashley Chiello, 30.
There was no sign of forced entry at the apartment. No further information has been released.
The investigation is ongoing.
