CLEARWATER, Fla. -- Detectives in Clearwater are asking for the public's help to identify a person of interest in a shooting.

  • Shooting occurred Monday night outside The Nolen Apartments
  • Police believe man may have information related to the crime
  • The victim is in critical condition

Just after 8 p.m. Monday night, Clearwater Police and Fire Rescue responded to a shooting at The Nolen Apartments. 

The victim, 35-year-old Lorenzo Hearns, was shot multiple times and is now in critical condition.

Residents of the complex called police after hearing a disturbance outside.

Clearwater Police want to talk to the man pictured above because they believe that he may have information related to the crime. 

The man is thought to be Hispanic and in his late 30s or early 40s. He has a muscular build, weighing about 200 pounds, and stands about 5 feet and 10 inches tall.
