TAMPA, Fla. -- Tampa International Airport police are investigating a suspicious bag at one of the airport's screening checkpoints, according to airport officials.

At last report, the bag is inside an X-Ray machine at the screening point. The screening point itself has been cleared of passengers and non-airport personnel.

The airport first announced the situation on their Twitter account Tuesday evening:

According to TIA officials, Southwest flights from LaGuardia, Baltimore and Chicago have been moved to Airside F to deplane.

We have a crew at the airport and will update this story as we learn more.
