The Hernando County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting at the Jason Oaks Apartments in Spring Hill. 

• Bre'on Wyatt, 20, shot at Jason Oaks Apartments Sunday morning
• Wyatt said people broke into his apartment; not sure what they wanted
• Wyatt transported to hospital for treatment; suspects being sought

Bre'on Wyatt, 20, was shot just before 4 a.m. Sunday, according to investigators. 

Wyatt had already been transported to the hospital by a friend by the time deputies arrived on scene. 

Wyatt told deputies that unknown individuals had broken into his apartment and was unaware of what they wanted. 

Officials said the suspects fled after Wyatt was shot.

Investigators are still searching for the suspects involved. No other information has been released at this time. 

Officials also stated there is no threat to the community.
