JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The historic Florida theater is a staple in downtown Jacksonville.

1. At the time of its construction in 1927 it was one of 13 other theaters on the Jacksonville riverfront, now it is the only historic theater to remain in the city. 

2. Inside the massive theater you can check out unique architecture all done in Mediterranean revival style. 

3. In addition to the unique architecture they’ve also hosted famous comedians and rock icons like Sinbad and artists like Alice Cooper and Fleetwood Mac.
