TAMPA, Fla. — Animals at ZooTampa at Lowry Park got into the holiday spirit this year by unwrapping presents of their own.

The park posted a video of birds, parrots and porcupines opening gifts on Christmas morning.

ZooTampa is running its Christmas in the Wild event through the end of December.

The event features twinkling lights, holiday treats, wildlife and new adventures for the holiday season. Social distancing measures are in place and reservations are required.
