UPDATE: The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has cancelled this Missing Child Alert. Officials say the child is safe.

EDGEWATER, Fla. — The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has issued a Missing Child Alert for a 2 year old that was last seen in Edgewater.

Officials say the child, identified as Rowan Renauld, may be in the company of his father Robert Renauld, who Edgewater Police say is in violation of a court order.

Police say the pair is believed to be traveling in a 2004, white in color Chevrolet Cavalier, with a license plate reading BB25IR.

The vehicle has no grill or hubcaps, and has a dent on the left rear bumper.

Police say the two are believed to be traveling to the Brandon or Fort Meyers area.

FDLE says Rowan was last seen wearing a white shirt with "Chill Out" written on it, khaki shorts, red socks, and black Vans sneakers with blue stars.
