CLEARWATER BEACH, Fla. — Clearwater police are investigating a car fire at the Edge Hotel where a body was found inside early Wednesday morning.
Police and Clearwater Fire Rescue responded to the hotel at 505 South Gulfview Blvd just before 2:30 a.m.
The car was located on the third floor of the parking garage.
After firefighters put out the fire, one deceased person was found inside.
Arson investigators from the police and fire department are on scene investigating.
No further information has been released.
