Detectives have identified a second suspect in a fatal Tampa apartment shooting.
Leon Lomax II, 20, is currently in jail in Volusia County. He faces charges of first-degree murder armed robbery with a firearm.
Demetrick Devaughn Anglin, 18, of Tampa was taken into custody last week.
Detectives said their investigation revealed that Anglin planned to rob the victim, Kortney Jerry, during a drug deal.
Jerry, 33, was found dead just before 3 a.m. April 15th at the Avesta Apartments, located at 2016 131st Avenue E.
Deputies said witnesses reported hearing an argument and then gunshots.
When deputies arrived, they found Jerry's body near the complex's parking lot and a nearby Lincoln Town Car with an open trunk full of drugs.
