Republican presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson is in the Bay area Tuesday.
Carson began the day at a Mayor's Prayer breakfast in Clearwater for the YMCA of the Suncoast.
Tuesday afternoon, he will sign copies of his book, A More Perfect Union, at the Carrollwood Barnes and Noble on Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa. That appearance is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.

Around 6 p.m. he will be at the Lakeland Books-A-Million on Town Center Drive for another book signing.
On Monday, Carson made a stop in the GOP hotbed The Villages.
Hundreds turned out to see Carson, a retired neurosurgeon sign books there.
In an exclusive Florida Decides presidential poll released Tuesday, Carson is trailing Donald Trump 37 percent to 17 percent among state GOP voters.
