Detectives have made an arrest in connection to a shooting outside Carmine’s Restaurant and Bar in Ybor City that injured several people last weekend.

Detectives arrested Jihad Hakim Amos, 20, of Tampa. Witnesses identified the suspect and police said the investigation is ongoing.

Around 2 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to gunshots fired in the patio outside the restaurant at 1802 E. 7th Avenue. The patio was near capacity at the time, and the officers found two men with serious gunshot wounds.

Matthew Musmian 28, and Parish Jordan, 22, were transported to Tampa General Hospital, underwent surgery and were still listed in critical condition Saturday afternoon.

Two other men were also wounded by the gunfire, and they were taken in private vehicles to St. Joseph's and Tampa General Hospitals. Shaun Smith, 29, and Leroy Monsalvatge, 22, were listed in serious but stable condition.

Amos is charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and violation of probation. Police said additional charges are pending.
