Here's what you need to know about the weather this weekend:

  • Gale Warning for Gulf of Mexico through Saturday
  • Significant beach erosion likely Saturday
  • Some coastal flooding possible
  • Colder temperatures last through the weekend

Skies will be mostly cloudy through Saturday morning with a strong wind from the northwest.  With the strong winds you can expect tides running a couple feet above average, minor coastal flooding, and dangerous boating conditions.  There will be a few sprinkles and light showers that come in from the Gulf occasionally.  Morning lows will be between 45 and 53, from north to south.

The clouds and sprinkles will move out with clearing conditions Saturday afternoon.  Due to strong winds temperatures will only warm a few degrees topping out in the low to mid 50s.

Saturday night will be clear but cold with lows in the 30s to low 40s.

Sunday will be the nicer of the two weekend days with sunny skies, much lighter winds, and highs in the mid to upper 50s.
