DADE CITY, Fla. -- 

UPDATE (4:20 p.m.) -- Authorities have canceled the missing child alert for the three kids in Dade City.

Christopher Lee Christy, 29, was arrested at a hotel in Jasper along with his girlfriend, Shannon Adams. They were taken into custody without incident.

They are both in the custody of the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.

DCF was called to take custody of the children.

ORIGINAL -- The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man who fled from a bondsman with his three young boys on Aug. 14.

Christopher Christy Sr. was at his home on Cook Avenue in Dade City when a bail bondsman attempted to take him into custody, investigators said. 

Christy Sr. fled from his home in a white and blue 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser with a Florida tag: LP#663HB. 

A witness observed three small children--identified as Justin Simonds, 6, Jeremy Simonds, 6, and Christopher Christy, 1--inside the vehicle. A woman, identified as Shannon Adams, 24, was also inside the vehicle, officials say. 

Christy Sr. was able to evade law enforcement for several days. 

At one point, Christy's PT Cruiser was spotted entering a residential garage on Summers Ridge Drive and was last seen at a church in Sumter County. Authorities belive they are heading north, possibly to North Carolina. 

Authorities say Christy Sr. has made threats to either harm his family or himself. 

DESCRIPTIONS:

Christopher Christy is 25 pounds. 

Justin and Jeremy are about 40 pounds and both have brown eyes and long brown hair that they wear in a ponytail. 

Christy Sr. is 5'7", 140 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes, and Shannon Adams, 24, is 5'1", 110 pounds, with blonde hair and brown eyes. 

Christy Sr. was last seen wearing a light colored t-shirt and camouflage pants. He has multiple tattoos, including a "C" on his left arm and right forearm, the words "Turn 'Em Out" on his left hand, and a star on his right arm.
