DADE CITY, Fla. — The Full Gospel Church of God in Christ near the downtown area of Dade City had part of its roof ripped off due to the heavy winds from Sunday's storms.

  • Winds were 60 MPH
  • Unknown if anyone was in the church
  • No injuries have been reported

The winds that rolled through the area at around 2 p.m. came in at around 60 miles per hour.

It is not known if anyone was inside the church when the roof was damaged, but no injuries have been reported.

This was one of the only reports of structural damage in the storms in Dade City. However, the storms knocked power out to more than 30,000 people on Sunday across the Tampa Bay area.

That being said, most of that power had been restored with linemen working into the night.
